I, Rizu, player of the deity Sabine, and moderator here at POLYchromatic since 2007... am here in this post box to formally retire.

I never, ever thought I would type that.

But I did. For various timezone and availability oriented reasons, my life and job in Japan have not made it conducive to continue to moderate a community that deserves as much attention as Poly does. I'm not leaving the game, but I'm trimming down my RP cast, and... giving up the mod mantle. I can't tell you how surreal this is. I always figured I would just keep modding here until the end of time because hell, Poly is going to just keep going, and so will I... ! Or, that's what I thought.

Poly has given me five+ years of amazing experiences, amazing RP memories, and a posse of amazing people I now call friends. It was my honor and pleasure to be your moderator for these past four years. It will be my honor and pleasure to remain a player in this game. And one day, if my life situation changes and I either end up back in the States or in a job that is less overtime, it would be my honor and pleasure to return as a moderator.

But until then... it's time to turn in the mod hat, and become just a player in this marvelous game once more.

My hats off to you, citizens of POLYchromatic. It has been a privilege. ♥
