My only question about this system is, how would that work for people browsing the flist looking for posts to tag? If all posts were behind a cut, then you'd either have to follow the fake cut to every post just to see the content and if you want to respond to it (which is time-consuming), or you'd end up only tagging the characters who are already relevant to yours because you'd selectively only look at the posts made by people you already have CR with, right?
Or would it be that the full content of the post is placed in the community but you'd just follow a link at the bottom to the journals to comment? Or would people who want to use their journals maintain a full friends list and browse it that way? Or...
It seems like an interesting idea organization-wise, but I think I'm misunderstanding how fake-cutting would make it feasible to skim the flist, sorry. Could you elaborate on that for me, please?
