It makes sense! Particularly because I'm sure it's never that big of a deal normally - particularly in the case of personal journals and games. Games since idk the only time I can remember having to go past 1k entries or 14 days worth of stuff is when it was on a comm either way so I don't think it was ever something that ever became an issue! And then on personal journals it's a lot more likely to just go to your particular friend's journal you want to catch up on, etc.
