obviously we haven't interacted ... at all, but i've loved seeing chekov around and think he's absolutely fab. re: the lack of phonetics, i'm personally really glad that's the route you've decided to take; i think his voice is strong enough and distinct enough that they're not necessary, and i think including them would just sort of ... distract and detract from what was actually being said? it's something that works in spoken medium, but i'm not a fan of quirks like that being written out and i really do think you've got a good enough handle on his voice not to have any need to rely on it.
