I actually play Chase without some a couple of his verbal habits (though he himself has fallen out of them now, but, in earlier seasons...) because I feel like they'd distract from the reading, or be misinterpreted. I think it's fine - you can keep character tone without exactly replicating their accent.

I am soooo glad to have you back in Poly, Veda-darling. All your characters have so many levels going on, even the ones who might have been less multi-dimensional in their canons. I think at the moment I'm enjoying interacting with Justin most: I think I've said he reminds Chase a little bit of himself in some ways and Chase almost wants to educate him in hiding it better, that art of concealment being what's got him through life. But that's complicated, because of what Justin has actually done (and the nerve that hits, of course). Does Justin deserve to be able to pass? Does Chase, anymore? & etc.

Penny I sort of feel like I'm still finding a level with, but it's so lovely to have her back.
