Hell, said ranting is a traditional part of ahR-Pee. But do please be advised that, when you do that, and you have never touched the Characterization Complaint Thread ? There's an ounce of hypocrisy staring back. Stand up for what you believe in, if it's enough to bother you. We can't do anything if we don't know about it. And no, we unfortunately cannot acquaint ourselves first-hand with all the fandoms with POLYchromatic representation.

You have the Char Complaint Thread, and you have the How's My Driving Thread [next up: November 28]. You have players' messenger contacts. You have their e-mails. Communicate somehow if you care about the quality of this merry little playground.

If you proceed to approach the neither of these three? PHAIL. Instant, greatly abused phail. Please don't make me have nice little chats with some of you because you are trolling other communities [HI, GUYS ♥]

II. Don't assume that OOC / mun arrangements should compensate for character development. If you're going to have your characters go WORST ENEMY or OTP on each other, give it time and work. Hades, develop. If you're RPing, you're doing it precisely to explore character possibilities, not to run off on default mun premises.

III. I realize that "indefinite hiatus" sounds all nice and shiny, but please understand that if it exceeds the regulated one month? It still counts as inactivity. Likewise, please don't try to hiatus individual characters when you are still functional with the others. It's a bit unfair towards all the other people who might be applying them and devoting an exponentially greater attention to them - and we can't do that. I'm sorry, but... yes.

We're more than open to discussing extraordinary inactivity circumstances, however (say, dunno : you have a plot that requires a char to be dead for a month, but you still want to keep them afterwards), so please don't exclude that possibility.

fandomsecrets, I extend my apologies. The head mod took care of that thread, but we encourage our watchers to do the very same. The RP secrets are all getting tiresomely repetitive about how much one's playing is disliked, and openly trolling about players.
