bring out your poll results

As of the 20th of June, the poll posted here has been closed. Here are the results and changes that will be implemented based on your voting on the issues that were presented.
Grab Bag Frequency: will be kept as it is, every month, though we will be adding a monthly organization post so that players can either plan things ahead, work things out with other characters, or just see what everyone is up to.

City Death: will be taken into greater consideration, in that we will try our best to enforce greater consequences should characters in the City die. Because so many instances of City death come down to the player, we hope that you will help us in this aspect by remembering these stipulations of being dead in the City. We will be coming up with other things to add to this predicament for characters in the future. Currently, we are searching for volunteers with characters who have been interested in digging up the Graveyard.

Anonymous Commenting on HMD: will still not allow anonymous commenting. As always, we encourage players to use crit threads, where anon comments are typically allowed, but as per voting majority in the poll, we will not be changing how How's My Driving functions at this time.
As always, if there are further questions, we encourage you to ask them here, through email, or in IM, and to please check out one of our newer additions to help Poly run more efficiently.

Thanks and have a very Poly day/night/afternoon/morning!

Will the monthly organization post take effect immediately? Like, in time for the coming Grab Bag on this weekend?

Also, re: digging up the Graveyard...depending on the circumstances and what needs to be done, I could possibly toss out either Rosella or Rudy? Rosella has prior gravedigging experience sob and Rudy...is Rudy, he's generally up for all sorts of shenanigans. >>

Awesome on both counts! Thanks, mods. ♥

Re: the graveyard digging. Brennan here would be interested in pretty much anything that involves the possibility of bones lol. Depending on what exactly you guys are looking to be done, of course. She has professional experience with exhuming/excavating remains and that sort of thing.

Angela says please don't bring home any skulls you find there without wearing gloves.

So, she can bring skulls home if she wears gloves?

Well, considering Angela has a skull of her own in the house, she can't exactly tell Brennan no lol

I'm curious. City!Death stipulates that the character cannot return home -- so what happens when the player drops them? It's implied that dropped characters go home, and we all know the canon must continue...

Sorry about the delay in this! We've actually be trying to track down an announcement that was made about this matter, and while we're still trying to find it, we wanted to get back to you with something while we look.

As far as this issue goes, it's something that is not really up to mod discretion because, as you've said, characters and canons do need to continue. Whenever characters are dropped from the City, dead or otherwise, players are free to assume that they go somewhere other than the City, whether it be back to their home world or moving on to the next life, should they have died. The rule about City!dead being unable to leave only really applies as long as characters are still in the game.

All our information on the City!dead is here (http://berryfloss.livejournal.com/9833.html).
