o1. tomorrow, characters who are City!dead or canonically dead will wake up with one of these beauties against their mightily fine tongues. The coin won't be extraordinary in any particular way, although supernaturally sensitive characters might sense that it has no aura of any kind. It's got a decent polish, could be newer, but ah well, beggars can't be choosers: call it a nice City souvenir. It's up to you whether vampire characters, or characters who will be definitely dying soon get a coin. (And don't worry, you do not have to have listed your character here in order to play with this!) Happy to take any questions >>!

o2. we love us some movin' images, .gifs, and whatnot, but we're nonetheless going to have to ask that you should please eljay-cut them in your poly IC or OOC posts. They can really lag the flist, and they're a bit painful for the unfortunate souls still struggling with dial-up. So yes, you're welcome to use them, just lj-cut them, please!

It's theirs to do with as their please after they get it, so I guess so?

OK! I think I left my question incomplete, sort of, as I guess the real meat of it is, whether intentionally or not, if x character loses the coin, will it "come back" - again in x's mouth the next day, or suddenly weighing down x's pocket, or is it gone/for the taking/etc.?

Indeed, but communication devices have occasionally proved tricky! And other... things... ...I-I don't know.

Communication devices can also be lost, or crushed into a state of... no real repair, at which point you have to have your character figure out a way to fix them, though o.o!

But back to your question: the coin will not, of its own volition, of which it has none, return to the person with whom it first appeared.

Cameron here died in the City, but it was in the course of a curse with a death exemption. Does she count to get a coin? D: She's never been City!Dead which is why I didn't list her last time.

Eeh, so this guy has 9 lives in canon, and he's died six. So he's alive, he still has three lives-- but he's died six times. Coin Y/N?

I think that's really one of those situations of a meddlesome canon, so, like with vampires, the choice rests with the player.
