30-31; Horseplay
You wake up with a curious sting to your rear, it feels a little sore and sensitive. There's a big red spot on each side but gradually something colorful and cute appears. Congratulations you've got a cutie mark! Throw a party, show it off, or hide it if it embarrasses you, no judging. Now not only do you have a cutie mark, throughout the day you feel an urge to be comedically dramatic and get your clop on. When midnight comes your true nature emerges. POOF! You are now a pony, and guess what, there's someone in the City who values your booty. [A little more info shall be revealed closer to the curse date! The info will not necessarily change the way anyone can play the curse, you can still play it simply for the crack.]

So maybe you've noticed the apparition, maybe you didn't and need to notice now. While all those citizens are busy trying to figure out their new tattoo a lady whose image fades in shades of white keeps appearing on the carousel. One minute she's there, the next minute she's not, but when she is she's always perched on a horse. What's her game? Nobody knows because she won't give any real answers and you certainly can't read her ~~sunken eye sockets~~ pokerface. Perhaps it's a distraction from the other curious happening at the carousel. Notice the quality of the horses going down a few notches? Splinters, chips, scratches, peeling paint, it really sort of looks like the horses are slowly dying. Pity them. And don't blink. If you do you might miss a horse change appearance from a decaying one to a bright shiny new one, hey you might recognize that color, those hooves, that mark. Then as soon as it flickers there it's gone, like a bad TV signal or a creepy viral video. Who really knows what it all means...besides those wonderful loving caring sweet Deities who just aren't taking questions right now.

For those who want their characters to see visions at the carousel, horses resembling any character is acceptable as long as the character is currently in the City or has been played in the City, which definitely includes dropped characters! Please note the resemblance won't be extremely acute as the carousel horses are highly stylized, they'd be recognizable more by markers like a lightning bolt or luna crescent or a distinct hair style or piece of clothing made to look like a bridle. The spectral jockey who appears to be an adult woman can be NPCed for interaction however we stress that she is not going to give any real answers or even her name, but humming a haunting tune, giggles, gestures, or ambiguous statements are all fair game. In all cases, the spectral jockey, decaying horses, and shiny new horses resembling characters, cannot be captured in photos or video. Any pictures or videos of the carousel will show it appearing normal and lacking a ghost. As far as the characters know they could be just seeing things, no thanks to the Deities.

Where appearances are concerned for characters turning into ponies during the curse, you do not have to stick with the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic art style. You're more than welcome to use classic My Little Pony animation or really any other form of pony you see fit for your character.
