Activity Experimentation: Results!

Hello Polychromatic!

The mods here, using our handy dandy poll-posting account (hence the name, right?).

As you may recall, back in August we announced that we were going to do an experiment with activity requirements here at POLYchromatic.

As a refresher on what constitutes activity at POLYchromatic, here is a link to our Activity Requirements.

For the past three months, we have experimented with requiring only 1 open Network post per character per month rather than 2 open Network posts per character per month.

Now that we've come to the end of that three month time frame, we would like to gather our results (as one does with an experiment). So that means we would like your votes in our poll regarding this experiment.

I don't know about everyone else's experience with this experiment, but for me a 1 post per month deal has helped me with tagging other people's posts more often than back when I was squeezing my brain with ideas for two posts every month. My CR has raised significantly in these three past months, so I'm all for it staying if that's the result.

I know that I was busy this month so I didn't do much in the way of tagging others but the two months prior I was doing the same. One post a month was great for having me think about what others were doing and looking in to see what was up. So I agree with you completely.

When do players ever ask to have their AC requirements made higher?

I don't really feel qualified to vote because I spent 2/3 of the test months not really around all that much due to medical nonsense. But I guess the lowered requirements made it easy for me to make AC while... still not being around... So, I guess you can take from that what you will.

Tbh I think the majority of us are entering a busier stage of our lives, so one post seems to work well to provide a stress-less environment to tag around more :) I haven't noticed a significant decrease in variety of posts to respond to, either.
