Intro-New-Character-Hiatus
Three things at once--this is rather exciting.
I realized that I never properly introduced myself, so hi, I'm AR. I play Evey Hammond
ever_evey, and I've taken up a new character--Miss Havisham
corpselikebride, from Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series.
Miss Havisham is originally from Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, but this Havisham is slightly different. She's still bitter and still hates men, but she's also one of the top Prose Resource Operatives (PRO) in Jurisfiction, the police agency in the BookWorld of Jasper Fforde's series. She knows she's fictional, can usually jump between books (and between the BookWorld and Outland) at will, loves Daphne Farquitt's romance novels, and is a complete speed demon (so hide the Rolls Royce, I guess the message is). Wikipedia would be happy to tell you a bit more about Miss Havisham and the Thursday Next series. And I'd be happy to answer any questions, of course.
I'm playing her from the end of chapter 11 in The Well of Lost Plots, if any of you've read the books--that's just before she and her apprentice, Thursday, are supposed to head up a Rage Counselling Session in Wuthering Heights. So none of that nasty death-in-a-fire stuff yet (her unfortunate end in Great Expectations doesn't yet exist in the Nextian world).
Oh, and if any of you know where I could find a screencap of Miss Havisham in that episode of South Park, let me know? I've been searching everywhere, and I've failed to find one.
Do add her, hm? :)
She'll be making a proper debut on Monday, because I'm going to be on a road trip this weekend. The goal: see Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young in concert. :D

I think it's faboo--and far better than what I'd be able to make, circumstances being as they are. :) Thank you.

Rage Counselling Session in Wuthering Heights
Ooh, that will fail. I can just see it now.
Counsellor: Now, Heathcliff, tell everyone why you're so angry with the family.
Heathcliff: *stony glare*
Counsellor: That's not helpful.
