Welcome back to our more seasoned members, and welcome to you first-timers.

HMD is the gamewide chance for feedback on playing here in

polychromatic.

And here's our philosophy on HMD: praise--it's all well and good (we all love it, yeah?), so if you want to give praise, love, ♥s, whatever, go for it! It's especially great to say what you ♥ so much about a character. For example, how they acted during X curse or Y plot was great, or how they adjusted (or didn't?) to the City was fascinating. But we all know, constructive crit is best when you're looking for advice on how to improve. What we really encourage here are questions. It gives you the chance to maybe understand something, (and maybe you think it makes sense after all now), and the player a chance to explain. For example:

"How did Gary get from Point A in canon to Point B in Poly? It didn't quite make sense to me."

"What started this whole fascination of Sue's with the bananas?"

And then you find out that there's a long, involved story that goes back six months involving the aftermath of a curse, a lizard, a pound of potatoes, a watermelon, three French maids, and a pogo stick. And then it all makes perfect sense.

Or perhaps it doesn't, but you've started a dialogue about the things you perceive versus the things the player perceives.

Clara~! Hullo you. You know, until a recent post with his girlfriend I didn't realize Ren was together with Misao. I thought it was really cute and have been trying to follow them a bit more now. I'm also so happy that you have another cast member for Tsubaki again! That's absolutely great!

I'd like to try and poke Risa a bit more with Yuuki, maybe. I think I always say that. /fail

But because of stuff going down with new canon mates in the city she'll probably be moving soon. So >< I WILL get better at poking her before then. And always, I enjoy Hikari and Tohru's friendship.

Heh, well they've known each other since Misao arrived, but it was only after being aged did they start dating, which lasted just over three months and now they're married. ^^ Just checking through their entries in that period you'll find cute logs to enjoy. Also, curse for grab bag will bring out more antics, but glad you like them dear.

Yes, having Crona around is awesome, hopefully there will be more time for plot soon.

I know all of the canon for the series you play from, and I don't really have any useful to add because you portray them all so well. I really love following Ren's relationship with Misao turn into what it is now, especially since it was actually started because Amu told Misao about that one curse day, lol. But yes, it's really cute.

I think Amu has sort of talked to most of them in passing at some point, but anyway hopefully I can throw more of my others your way for some CR since we only have just the one ♥

Aww, thanks~ We try to bring in as much cute as possible but of course keep it realistic, for them anyway, Misao's pretty extreme so they're bound to be hilarity.

Yep she has, anymore CR would be welcome, and I'll to remember to get the others to tag Amu as well to get more interaction in. ^^~

This is probably coming out of nowhere, since I've only threaded with you a few times in the past! But I admit that I was somewhat curious about the direction you're taking Ren. Shaman King used to be my main fandom for years. I haven't read it in ages, mind, so I can't remember as much as I used to.

Still, from what I recall, Ren always had a certain dignity to him. He was terse, angry rather than tsundere, and very... goal-oriented, I guess? I've skimmed a few of his posts and I don't seem to get that same air. Not to mention, I think he was dating Horohoro when Horo was still around, and now he's married to Misao? Even if he was cursed into the second, the fact that he's not... ignoring it and they're moving in together suggests that it's rather serious. However, he never struck me as very... focused on romance, and two relationships, both of them serious in a relatively short amount of time, seem rather unusual to me for someone like Ren.

I can tell he's been played for a long time, though! So I was wondering about the developments I'd missed, since... I am too lazy to go back and read through 100+ posts. |D

If you haven't read it, then you should. The new chapters and final ending are epic, and so worth looking at, just so you know!

I do agree with what you're saying, canon he was like that, and to a degree he still is. The new chapters show him putting a lot of his demons to rest and how he does have hopes of settling down in the future, which I tried to put it. However, I could show the fact he's still got that hint of stubborness and pride a bit more obviously, and I will try to do that, so thanks.

As for the relationships, he wasn't dating Horohoro, he had feelings for him but they were not reciprocated, so Ren was in a state of limbo when Horo left the City. It was only after being cursed with a possible future with Misao, and as mentioned canon updates that made him think more of what he would do after the Shaman tournament that he started to develop things with Misao, and they had been seeing each other for a few months before getting cursed into premature marriage, but they kinda knew that was future event anyway, so he was less inclined to dismiss it. He has found himself over time falling in love, because she brings out better things in him, so he kinda knew what the outcome would be. That and Misao was very much set on everything, so trying to get her to dismiss the curse would have been a struggle. ^^;

I hope that clarifies things a bit more, thanks for the questions. ^^
