IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE! HMD, HMD! HOW'S MY DRIVING? PRETTY GOOD, RIGHT? AREN'T YOU THANKFUL?! GOBBLE IT UP, POLYCHROMATIDS~!!

Welcome back to our more seasoned members, and welcome to you first-timers.

HMD is the gamewide chance for feedback on playing here in polychromatic.

And here's our philosophy on HMD: praise--it's all well and good (we all love it, yeah?), so if you want to give praise, love, ♥s, whatever, go for it! It's especially great to say what you ♥ so much about a character. For example, how they acted during X curse or Y plot was great, or how they adjusted (or didn't?) to the City was fascinating. But we all know, constructive crit is best when you're looking for advice on how to improve. What we really encourage here are questions. It gives you the chance to maybe understand something, (and maybe you think it makes sense after all now), and the player a chance to explain. For example:

"How did Gary get from Point A in canon to Point B in Poly? It didn't quite make sense to me."

"What started this whole fascination of Sue's with the bananas?"

And then you find out that there's a long, involved story that goes back six months involving the aftermath of a curse, a lizard, a pound of potatoes, a watermelon, three French maids, and a pogo stick. And then it all makes perfect sense.

Or perhaps it doesn't, but you've started a dialogue about the things you perceive versus the things the player perceives.

As decided by community vote, anon is not allowed here on the main HMD post, and IP logging is on. Sorry, Anon. However, we encourage posting a link to your own, personal, anon-enabled crit thread(s) if allowing anon is something you want to do and are comfortable with. But keep in mind that we moderators can't police those crit threads: not only are they anon, but they are on your own journals, and there are dozens of them. But we entreat members of this game to be polite and courteous, logged in or not. We will be watching the main post for any unrest, however, so keep that in mind. (We like to watch.) Let's all keep ourselves like civilized people, and have a decent time. Remember, no road rage in HMD.

I really love your Hiro though. He's so cute and mega fun to play against. He's just such a smart ass. I think after recently events it will be fun to see how he differs a little bit around Tohru.

You're doing a great job with him. I can't think of anything constructive to say. Just keep up the good work!

And I've only seen like....three or four episodes of 07-Ghost. But it was something I meant to continue watching and or read. So maybe some time soon I'll be able to pick that up again.

I'm really glad you like him so far! \o\ He'll be around more this next month, definitely. AS FOR THE RECENT EVENTS, he might say something about it after awhile, since... he's guilty. He thinks it's his fault, and he's gonna be nicer to Tohru instead of trolling her like he likes to do. If he ever finds out that it wasn't his fault, he'll keep it up since it that whole thing was a pretty good lesson. 8( No need to repeat that.

Oh! You definitely should continue watching/pick up the manga. It's a good series that I really recommend, although it can be really confusing at times, too. 8( BUT IT IS A VERY GOOD SERIES.

Debs! I love your Hiro. He's such a great kid. You are doing a wonderful job with him so far. Just the right amount of snarkiness and kindness wrapped up with his openess that is so nice to have around. He's hard to play around with due to having no Kisa here yet but I'm sure he'll branch out and get to know others soon. We are happy to have you.

Thank you! \o I'm really glad you like him. He's sorta difficult to play sometimes, because I'm not sure about whether I'm putting in the right amount of snarkiness or not, so hearing that I'm doing overdoing/not doing enough of the snark is nice. I have tons of fun playing him, even if I still feel a bit shaky sometimes. 8)

Yes! Hiro is definitely going to branch out and... attempting to meet some of the other people in the City past the Sohmas. He needs to meet some people that aren't in his family. 8(

I REALLY excited about having a Hiro. I am loving him so far. Like other said, I'm loving the balance between his kindness and snarkiness.

For those reasons I really want to get Hikaru to interact with him... as if those two really need to know each other with their bratty ways. |D

In an effort not to be... relentlessly complimentary of you forever... Hiro's private post to himself seemed a little too practical, taking the fact that the deities had deceived him in stride somewhat too quickly? I don't know if the City's already jaded him so much that he can just be like, "... guys, you really REALLY suck >(" and move on, but yeah! A little more quiet "...:|" and some "._." about Kisa wouldn't have gone amiss, I think?

... it's sad how I can only express my crit in smileys, isn't it.

You know I love you for playing him and I would talk to you about Teito except I haven't marathoned 07-Ghost in a few months, and I was always confused when everyone around him in the manga said that he was a tsundere and he never actually acted like it as far as I could tell... so. I'll poke at Teito in a few months. I DO ENJOY THREADING WITH HIM WITH ROXAS THOUGH.

Yeah. It... kinda did, now that I look at it. I'll admit that it felt kind of awkward when I was writing it, too - there'll be more angst about Kisa and the whole thing that went down with the button and Tohru to come, so hopefully I can... try to fix that mistake a bit (or maybe I could edit it and fix it up and make it feel less awkward now since it was private and no one replied to it). idk.

AND don't worry about it. Smileys can be a very good method to get your point across, sometimes. 8) Thank you. ♥ I'm still kinda shaky with Hiro, so that helps a lot!

The reason he's sorta called tsundere is because of how he acts with Frau sometimes, since Frau makes him tsun a ton. Castor can sort of do it too, but it's mostly Frau. 8)

♥♥♥ I'm glad you don't think it's too off! I pretty much just keep Ayame's chapters in a folder and review those, so I haven't looked at Hiro's bits in a month or so. |D

Nooo, 'cos I remember there were scenes at the very beginning when he was still training and the other students were all "omigosh, that Teito, so ~dark~ and ~unapproachable~" and it was just like... "but guys, he looks pretty normal. What are you on. >________>" But, yes. Needs a Frau. :>

I have Hiro's chapters all saved too, and I look at them every once in awhile because of my shakiness but-- HEY, you can only keep getting better. \o

Well, during that period of time, Teito was pretty quiet and serious and... not social. That might've contributed to the dark and unapproachable thing. 8) AND YES, NEEDS A FRAU. I would love to have a Frau someday for that reason. ;;
