So, in the spirit of rolling around pathetically post-Octobloodfest bonding:

POLY PLOTTING MEME

What do? Well, if there's anything you've been wanting to do with your character (from a big event, like starting a rebellion, to a smaller deal, like... learning a skill, or meeting new people), here's a chance to talk about it and try to drag other people into it! Just fill in the not-so-shiny textarea, then comment around and try to get others involved with your idea! Alternatively, you can also put down what issues you've been having with the character (ex: "I don't know how to get X more involved with Y issue..." / "I don't know how to go about plotting Z..." ) and maybe someone can help out with a suggestion.

This is the best opportunity to work with people outside of your usual CR-range, so try to make use of it!

Be one with the textarea...

Aaaand you're welcome to figure out City-wide plots, but please be sure to still talk to mods about those here, or at polychromatic.mods@gmail.com, mkay? HAVE FUN!

[character]: Eagle Vision
[a bit about them!]:
A Commander from a technologically advanced planet called Autozam whose main goal is to conquer Cephiro and take over its ‘Pillar System’. His world is dying from misuse and pollution so Eagle is prepared to sacrifice himself in order to become the Pillar (someone who can support and maintain a world with their prayers but isn’t allowed to think or anything else, not even love, or the planet they are supporting falls apart. It is a very lonely and sad existence.)
Eagle has a friendly generally happy nature and he is very polite. Eagle tends to hide things that are really bothering him and only allows people to see that smile of his. His biggest secret is that he is dying from a illness that has no known cure. Eagle isn’t someone who asks for help even if he needs it…
Eagle means well but he does have a darker side. He can be ruthless in battle and so focused on his goal that even if he knows it is hurting the people who care about him… he will do it anyway.

[any ideas/things you want to do]:
Here’s the hard part… my idea bucket is running a little low right now. Maybe I am a touch burnt out… I dunno. I just want to do derpy things right now. All ‘derpy’ suggestions welcome!

To this end Eagle is going to try to learn to cook. All these Earth ingredients are strange though… and he has never really tried cooking before so there maybe an opportunity to get involved here. Recipe advice? Running into him at the grocery store?

Sometime when I am less sleepy/lazy I want to unveil the full details of that ‘secret illness’ on the Network. Get that secret out of the way.
Maybe then would be a chance for you Doctor/Scientist/friendly types people to attempt to help. He will likely politely decline your help unless you have ‘Autozam quality’ credentials or if you can get some one from the Rayearth cast on your side. Eagle is also stubborn…

It has also been suggested that sometime in the future Eagle attacks a deity trying to get them to let the people trapped in this place escape/find a way back to Cephiro for himself. But, Eagle isn’t sure they really know anything and he wouldn’t just fly at someone with out cause.

If you can think of any reason why they might fight, Eagle is very capable of defending himself. That technology from Autozam is pretty good for attack and defense. ^_^

[character]: Lady Aska
[a bit about them!]:
Aska is a spoiled young Princess from Fahren… who is also after the Pillar, though her reasons are a lot less noble than Eagle’s. She just wants to make all of her wishes come true and she doesn’t realize the Pillar can’t grant any wishes for themselves. This has been explained to her in the City but if it actually changed her mind or not… who knows.
Aska is loud and will react to events with ‘font size’ and ‘b’… for emphasis. She wants what she wants and will throw tantrums if she doesn’t get her way. Tantrums she can back up with her magical ability to make anything she draws come to life. Underneath it all though, Aska is a really sweet person. She just wants to everyone to be happy. So if you are sad she will try to cheer you up.
[any ideas/things you want to do]:
She is so going to yell at the deities over the Network at some point, hopefully after another curse. And she can be loud…

She needs to meet other kids sometime. Maybe we can play!

[character]: Mara Lesser

[a bit about them!]:
She can touch you and make you die.
She is City!Dead and can't remember how it happened. (Except for some very disturbing nightmares and dreams.)
She is in a relationship, and still has now idea how that really works.
She has trust issues. See the two previous points.
She lives alone in a huge house she inherited from a former lover and very bad man, Dorian Gray.
She can be a cynic and can count the people she trusts on one hand. (As much as she trusts anyone.)
She works in the hospital, counseling terminal patients and fighting her own aversions to both, and at the magic shop occasionally for Mercy.

[any ideas/things you want to do]:
When it comes to her death, she knows Rido's messed with her memories thereof once so she doesn't trust ANYTHING she remembers - which I think is a big opportunity for people to screw with her on that point. She has the distinct opinion that the Master may have been involved thanks to the nightmare curse, but even that she's really not sure on because everyone's memories have been so screwed up.

TL;DR - she's prime for mental manipulation.

[identity profile] absinthe-eyed.livejournal.com 2010-11-11 08:02 am (UTC)(link)
Death and memory-loss bonding? Justin actually doesn't know about Rido's mind-powers, but he's almost entirely certain that the Master, y'know... ate people.

[character]: Anna Milton

[a bit about them!]:
She's a former fallen angel with experience in time travel and extreme Apocalypse-averting measures.
She used to be Castiel's boss.
She misses being human.
She is in a relationship, and still has now idea how that really works.
She has faith issues, daddy issues, and despite being loyal to the Winchesters deep down she knows they have to die.
...she also knows she's wrong about that.

[any ideas/things you want to do]:
She's considering dealing with the Deities to do something about her humanity, although holding back because making deals? Not cool.

I need more things to ground her as a human, she's kinda forgotten how to have fun.

[character]: Cinna

[a bit about them!]:
Makes it work harder than Tim Gunn.
Makes it look easier, too.
Has lead a more or less pampered existence, but has been opening his eyes and has a strong sense for how wrong that is.
And yet he's still surprised at how bad things are for the others.
Owns and runs a shop that makes off-the-rack and custom clothing.
...is very, very sorry his pieces caused some havoc over the holiday.
Has a certain amount of arrogance, but is nice enough that you don't always notice it.

[any ideas/things you want to do]:
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO OWNS THOMAS RAITH'S HAIR SALON NOW? Cinna's looking to expand.

And anything really - I need to get him involved in wider things because he's been justifiably sticking close to his crew, but I think it's time to branch him out.

[character]: Rosella ([livejournal.com profile] primrosella)
[a bit about them!]:
She's a nineteen-year-old not-so-standard fairytale princess from the land of Daventry whose general history and background is outlined in her profile here (http://primrosella.livejournal.com/profile). She's been in the City two years and three months, so she's very much a veteran of the City. She works at the Library, rides horses, has a notorious sweet tooth, loves puns, likes to dance, currently lives in the Warehouse with a [livejournal.com profile] byweavinglives, has a penchant for adventure, can use magic, and--as one of her dearest friends so eloquently put it--about the only time she's not getting into trouble is when she's asleep. She's a perpetual optimist, but she's seen a lot in her time in the City, and there is essentially nothing she won't do for her family and friends.
[any ideas/things you want to do]:
Emotionally, she's in kind of a shaky place because she lost two of her closest friends (one of whom was literally her first friend in the City) in the same summer, which left her with a lot of loneliness, vulnerability, and abandonment issues. I'm always up for having her make new friends and strengthening her CR again, and I've found that she tends to do really well with two types of characters in particular--the confident, charismatic types with accents who end up charming her, and the good-hearted but shy and timid types that she can befriend and help encourage a sense of self-confidence in. Characters that make heavy use of pop culture references will probably find themselves explaining them to her every other tag (or the victim of mistaken assumptions about what they mean), since she's from fairy-tale land and so pretty much all of them go over her head--which isn't a bad thing, just a heads-up that it might take a little more persistence to get through to her!

TL;DR Rosella can always use more friends, and she's kind of a toolbox of skills and things that she's involved in or knows about, so she's really versatile for involvement in plots and CR.

[identity profile] prefers-chess.livejournal.com 2010-11-10 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
[character]: Rudy ([livejournal.com profile] prefers_chess)
[a bit about them!]:
Rudy is a twelve- (now thirteen, he just had his birthday) year-old kid hailing from Ontario, Canada in 1981. He is extremely introverted, flagrantly sarcastic, and occasionally borderline sociopathic in his utter disdain for his fellow man. He is also the world's greatest natural athlete (in his canon, naturally), which means that if an activity can in any way be construed as athletic, Rudy can instinctively excel at it. Canon also gives evidence that this applies to competitive activities in general, not just physical ones; case in point, Rudy is a master at chess. However, Rudy rarely if ever mentions these abilities because he hates sports as much as he is good at them (which is a lot), and refuses to play them unless he is forced. However, he does have a unique sense of personal honour and will never intentionally play below his capabilities. He's extremely intelligent, incredibly bad at social interaction, mistrustful of adults, and kind of a geek in his own right: he likes Star Wars and old-school Mission: Impossible and Pac-Man, and his musical tastes run to heavy metal and hard rock.
[any ideas/things you want to do]:
I would love to have more opportunities to showcase Rudy's abilities, but the problem is that he won't use them of his own choice; he has to be forced into it (with the exception of chess, which he will play of his own volition). It's his nature to resist with everything he has, which I know can sometimes pose problems on the IC/OOC divide because it treads a fine line between okay and godmodey to tell someone else's character that they have to do something when they're resisting that much. However, as a player I would love to come up with some ways of forcing Rudy into activities that he really doesn't want to participate in, so OOC communication and arrangement is probably the way to go on that one.

Also, Rudy is always up for a game of chess. Always. I'm not against letting him lose (canonically, he never loses at anything, but that's obviously both unrealistic and unfeasible), but it will take an extremely skilled, grandmaster-level player to beat him. He's twelve and he plays like Bobby Fischer, go figure.

On an interpersonal level, Rudy takes best to people who understand his unique sense of humour and can roll with his metaphorical punches; in lieu of that, he also does reasonably well with people who know when to utilize the "nod and smile" method and when to leave him alone. And despite how he acts, he is, at heart, a kid. He likes nifty gadgets and 80's pop culture and superheroes and good music.

[identity profile] reed4context.livejournal.com 2010-11-11 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
I am not sure how well their personalities would mesh, but Eriol is pretty darn smart for the age that he appears (about twelve) and he likes chess. Given that some part of him has been playing the game for decades (yay for reincarnation), he's probably pretty good at it, but he enjoys losing as much as winning.

By which I mean. Maybe we can start with chess and go from there? If you'd like?

I've always thought Rudy seemed like an interesting character but was never really sure where to start with him.

[character]: Finnick ([livejournal.com profile] protects_her)
[a bit about them!]:
Finnick Odair is twenty-four years old, ridiculously handsome, and has spent the last ten years of his life being the "living legend" of his homeworld, Panem. He was Victor of the 65th Hunger Games, which is essentially a Battle Royale-style survival competition in which children between the ages of twelve and eighteen are "reaped" from their home districts, sent into an arena with nothing but the clothes on their backs, and forced to fight it out until only one is left standing. At age fourteen, Finnick was one of the youngest children to ever win the Games, which is a polite way of saying he killed a bunch of children for the sake of staying alive himself. That victory stemmed largely from the fact that he is unusually attractive, which earned him a lot of rich sponsors to provide for his needs while he was in the Arena. His weapon of choice is the trident, which is largely due to the fact that he comes from District 4, the fishing district of Panem. As such, he is ridiculously good at swimming, practically grew up on boats, and is extremely deadly when you put a trident and a net in his hands. In public, he mostly wears his "living legend" facade, which is probably best summed up like this: if Panem had Old Spice, Finnick is the one they'd have doing the commercials. Except that it wouldn't end when the commercials were over. That's basically his life in an amazing-smelling nutshell.

Also he has absolutely no concept of personal space. Or shame. Ask anybody in his crew. They know.
[any ideas/things you want to do]:
EVERY WOMAN IN THE CITY. HELLOOOOO, LADIES.

Okay no seriously here's the thing. Finnick's trade is secrets. Particularly dirty secrets. And he's canonically extremely good at learning and keeping them. Now, around the City, he doesn't have nearly as much motivation to do that as he does in canon, but he does make a good confidante, if there are any characters out there languishing under the weight of a Big Secret that they don't want to reveal but are desperate to talk to someone about it. I'm not sure how to really bring that sort of trade into play in the City, honestly, because it's such a situational thing in canon (and for a very specific reason that isn't currently an issue in the City), but I'd be willing to explore it if the opportunity were ever to arise.

On a related note, Finnick is always on the lookout for new information. Life in Panem is very, very different from life in the City, and he doesn't like being at a relative disadvantage due to lack of knowledge about how the place works. And he tends to ferret out information by talking to people, so he's always up for a conversation if there's something to be learned from it (and lots of times when there's not, even). He's free with his compliments around girls, tends to flirt with pretty much everything in sight, and just generally likes to talk to people.

ALSO EVERYONE SHOULD VISIT PEETA'S BAKERY AND BUY CLOTHES FROM CINNA. /schmooze schmooze schmooze

[identity profile] dude-imbatman.livejournal.com 2010-11-10 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Oooh I had forgotten this about Finnich. The secret thing but YES.

Lucy will be flirting with him soon. My idea is she might do some confiding in him later about things like the Master and such.

Buffy may need to do some confiding as well. Although hers won't be as juicy or as City related.

[character]: Cain Hargreaves

[a bit about them!]:The Byronic Hero: mad, bad, and dangerous to know. Risky, fascinated with poisons, sophisticated, seductive, mysterious, charming, a gentleman (but only to a point). An absolute ladies' man, though really maybe more of a player (oh dear). Hopefully his reputation precedes him. After all, he's been in the City for three and a half years now, and knows more than many about the ins and outs of it--and the good and the bad of it. But hopefully, despite all that time here, he hasn't lost his touch.

[any ideas/things you want to do]: I would love to get Cain more involved in, well, anything. He's gotten into a lot of scrapes and adventures in his time in the City. But he's kind of gotten a little too wise of late, and is keeping too far out of trouble. I think he needs to get into trouble again. He could hassle the police, investigate his brother, start making opium again, work on his poison collection, raise hell, start trouble--he's an earl, but he's also a troublemaker in his canon. He's charming, but also a complete beast.

I think, generally, I'd like him to do more than make snarky commentary on the curses (much as I love this). I'd very much like to develop new CR and make some new connections and have him get out and around more again. He's a social animal, and no mistake.

I am planning on having him host a masquerade sometime in November or early December, just because the City's was not nearly as pleasant as he'd hoped. So there's that, if anyone wants to get in on that (or combine events?).

Doll's been in the City well over a year and still misses the other circus folk from back home who she considers to be her family, seeing as she practically grew up with them on the streets of the East End before they were taken to a workhouse and given the chance to set up their own circus.

She's from the Victorian era so while she's slightly more up to date with technology and modern society, the time period she's from still influences her. She's also touchy about her face and keeps half of it covered with her hair at all times due to burn scars inflicted on her by her parents when she was little. While she's easy-going she still has issues because of her upbringing, but she's very friendly and a bit childlike in her naivety sometimes, though she's less trusting these days due to some developments in the City.

General stuff: Works as a tightrope walker at Circus Carnivore and volunteers the rest of her time at the orphanage and Welcome Center. Shares a flat with Penny and a small zoo of animals, has a dog of her own called Tiger who is an enormous derp most of the time.
[any ideas/things you want to do]: I'd like to increase her CR in general, give her more friends to talk to. She's a bit scared of getting close to people since a lot of her old friends left and I'd like her to be able to get over that. But I'm up for all types of CR really, even the kind that may get her in trouble.

[a bit about them!]:
Road acts like an adorable thirteen year old who likes being cutesy and dressing up in gothic lolita clothes. She can be sweet and adorable and all that fun stuff, coming off as a bit spoiled and demanding but ultimately a sweet and generally normal girl.
Road is the oldest of the Noah clan, a family dedicated to eradicating humanity. She's been reincarnating from body to body for 7000 years or so and has been in her current one at least 35 years, potentially a lot more. She's the Dreams of Noah and as such likes screwing with people's minds both with and without her powers, and has a streak of sadism a mile wide. Most everything is a game to her and she has no morals worth speaking of.
She also makes awesome faces.
[any ideas/things you want to do]:
ALL CR AND PLOTTING IS GOOD SO HIT ME UP IF YOU HAVE IDEAS but there are two main things I'd like to work on:
1) Road has owned the Circus Carnivore for a while now and due to both characters leaving and me not keeping up properly, there are hardly any PCs to man it. I'd love it if people wanted to affiliate with it or especially if they wanted to work there, as performers/backstage workers/whathaveyou. Someone to promote it would also be amazing. I intend to post ICly about this soon but leaving this here to gauge interest in it and plot things out!
2) A lot of the characters she's known have left (she's been around over two years now) as well as everyone from her world apart from Lulu Bell. And someone decided to point out she's not as notorious around the City as she used to be (looking at you, Justin).
Soooo basically Road has decided she may as well take things from the top, turn respectable and friendly again and worm her charming little way into the hearts of City citizens. All in aid of future evilness of course >.>

SO, ANYONE WANTS TO BEFRIEND A PSYCHOLOLI?! She'll behave...for now.

(n.b. and I'm aware there are people who know full well what she's like, am more than happy to plot over there too.)

[character]: Gin Rummy ([livejournal.com profile] classywigger)

[a bit about them!]: Rummy's a lot of things, including an Iraq war vet, criminal, and wigger. He thinks of himself as a criminal mastermind, but he's really not that smart. He likes to go out and commit crime, including kidnapping and murder. Only problem is that if he tries to plan things out himself, things don't go very well.

Also, Rummy dislikes certain cell phone technology, like texting, bluetooth, and iPhones. Regular, modest cell phones are okay, though. He also cusses like someone out of a Quentin Tarantino movie. Then again, he is voiced by Samuel L. Jackson.

Back home he had only two real friends, Riley and Ed Wuncler III. Riley's gone (for now), and Ed's not here, so he gets a little lonely and homesick sometimes. He and Ed were close. Like... really close. They hugged each other a lot, let's just say that.

[any ideas/things you want to do]: Rummy's a little down right now, what with Riley being gone (for now anyway, but he doesn't know that) and thus none of his friends from back home are here with him. I'm always up for him making some allies or friends. Maybe even someone plot some crime with. Or anything is good, really.

I mean we need to go out, rob something, and cuss a lot.

[character]: [livejournal.com profile] makesfolktalky
[a bit about them!]:

He's a 70s Brit cop, with all the outdated viewpoints to go along with that time period. Pretty much he's an offensive bastard most of the time. Even if he likes you. Admittedly slightly less so if that's the case, especially if you're the type who seems like they can hold they're own.

[any ideas/things you want to do]:

Obviously Ray's out of City at the moment, but when he gets back I would like to do more with him. One thing I do know is I really need to tag out more than I have been. He should probably have earned more antagonistic relationships by now, so if you wouldn't mind him being an offensive prat to your character, now's the time to speak up! And if you think your character would get on with him, I'd also love to tag with you.

[character]: [livejournal.com profile] mothinabath
[a bit about them!]:

Mid 30s IT man who only isn't living with his mother because she isn't actually in the City. Supposedly he's a genius, but being from a Linehan sitcom, naturally most of the things he does invent go wrong.

Pretty much he's just a big, geeky manchild I can get away with being utterly ridiculous with.

[any ideas/things you want to do]:

I do have a few curse ideas for him, but I really need to get him more involved with other characters instead of just doing whatever with the whole time.

If anyone needs anyone technically/scientifically/mathematically minded for plots, I'd be up for that. Or if anyone just wants to interact with him, let me know. \o>

[character]: Alan Ryves
[a bit about them!]: Completely and utterly human, no special powers at all. He's an excellent shot with a gun, but that's it. Uhhh, Alan has built his whole life around his brother, one Nicholas Ryves, who is not here! Luckily he's taken from a point where he's having ~mixed feelings~ about the whole thing anyway. He loves helping people! He's just... not very naive about it, so he's not easily used.
[any ideas/things you want to do]: I have actually not made much headway on my to-do list with Alan! Get him a job, preferably something with minimum walking. Stop dropping tags. Catch up on the fallout with the CR I started in October. (I AM SORRY FOR BEING SLOW, GUYS.) Stop dropping tags. Something with the summoning circles from his canon--are there any demons/characters who can be conjured in the city who want some kind of accidental summoning? Stop dropping tags, seriously. Research summonings and banishings with other people, since so many people here are magically based.

Basically, he really needs CR and activity on my part, and that is it. 8|a We can go from there.

Angels can be summoned in the SPN 'verse, but it goes really badly for the summoner.

[character]: Presea, Pharle of Cephiro
[a bit about them!]:
Kind and motherly... most of the time. But she's scary when she's angry, even if it's unlikely she'd carry out most of her threats. Presea is from a medieval-analogue fantasy-type culture and she's her country's master blacksmith.
[any ideas/things you want to do]: I adore it when Presea gets to make weapons for player-characters, or repair or sharpen them. So if anyone needs something like that, she's your girl! I'm plenty open to other suggestions as well.

[identity profile] protects-her.livejournal.com 2010-11-11 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
Just as an FYI, if Presea ever needs some free advertising or a testimonial that her weapons are kickass, Finnick would probably not be above talking her up to the Network at large. He likes his trident a lot.

And if anyone in his cast tells you he sleeps with it in his arms at night they are LYING. LYING, I say.

[personal profile] beifongbandit 2010-11-11 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, let's just do everyone. I have a ton of free time in November and December, so this is the time to start new things!

[character]: Toph Bei Fong
[a bit about them!]:
Blind, but doesn't let that keep her from being awesome. Purposefully has little manners; usually says exactly what comes into her head. Is a very powerful earthbender, which is sort of like magic. Toph is generally barefoot and snarky.
[any ideas/things you want to do]: I'd like Toph to make some more friends. She's been really abrasive lately because that's the easiest part of her character to me, but she can be friendly in her own way (I hope you like being hit in the shoulder for affectionate purposes), and she's incredibly loyal.

I'd also love to get into or organize some child shenanigans, because Toph is the kind of girl who would acquire a gang, or get into trouble because she's bored.

[character]: Dr. James Wilson
[a bit about them!]: James enjoys long walks on the beach, getting to eat a meal without his [livejournal.com profile] vicodincrutch stealing most of it, diagnosing and treating cancer, and being needed. He really is caring and nice, just... not as caring and nice as he wants you to think he is. His personal brand of humor is deadpan snark. Just because he's saying something with a straight face doesn't mean he's not messing with you. It's usually good-natured.
[any ideas/things you want to do]: OKAY SO Wilson has been here for a pretty long time now and he's had a lot of major things happen to him, so... I don't really think he needs a lot of big, crazy stuff happening to him. I think what he really needs is just more new CR. I've been on a hiatus/semi-hiatus/slowatus for months now while life has exploded everywhere around me and I really want to get him back on track now that (I think) it's starting to calm down.

[character]: Todd Anderson
[a bit about them!]: Todd used to be cripplingly shy to the point that he wouldn't say more than a couple words to anyone at one time. He's made progress beyond that, at this point, but he's still very shy and tends to have trouble conversing with people he doesn't know. He is, as a result quite dedicated to the friends he does manage to obtain, though until he's extremely comfortable with them, he'll still feel odd about asking things of them, or even talking to them too much for fear he's intruding on them. He's thoughtful, cautious, compassionate, and, when he does relax with his friends, well-humored and even silly at times.
Also he is currently with [livejournal.com profile] had_not_lived. It's a secret, mostly.
[any ideas/things you want to do]: Given that he's so darn quiet and shy, it's tough to get CR with this kid. He was hurt by the same lifeatus that took Wilson mostly out of comission and has lost a few bits of CR over the time he's been here.
He's also writing a play. This isn't totally public knowledge - he's only mentioned it to a few close friends. Neil plans on putting it on, but even though Todd is writing away and making progress at a decent pace... he's still having his doubts that he wants this out there for everyone to see and judge and tell him how awful it is and how he should never write anything ever again.

[character]: Hanna Cross
[a bit about them!]: A paranormal investigator with a dark, mysterious past, who will do anything to protect his friends and help people. He's easily excited and, despite his cheerful exuberance, a hint of that tragic past can occasionally be seen.

But he'll lie about that, of course, because he hates to make his friends worry.
[any ideas/things you want to do]: Hanna here needs stuff to investigate. He might not be the best paranormal investigator in the world, but he loves his job, and feels a bit out of practice in the City.
So throw some cases at him!! He'll take whatever you can throw at him, even if it breaks him physically!

Also, he's absolutely terribly inexperienced as far as romance goes, and he needs a date. Badly. Gender doesn't matter, he just needs to feel loved, because...well, he's never been loved before.

Also, somebody please, please bring his bff {...} in here!!
bequiet_hescreamed: Oh, so you know who to blame for lying to you about all the bullshit you're about to go through? Okay. (who me?)

[personal profile] bequiet_hescreamed 2010-11-13 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
So, what kinds of paranormal investigating does he do? I'm not familiar with the canon.

[character]: Jessica Hamby
[a bit about them!]: With just a handful of short months as a vampire under her belt, including the time she's been in the City, Jessica is still a bit uncertain of herself. Not atypical for any teenage girl, of course, even if you happen to be destined to spend the rest of eternity as one. She can be moody, insecure, snappy; but at her core, she's not truly bad. She wants a normal life, she wants to be able to be happy, she just thinks it's impossible for her because of what she is now. She's made a bit of progress, but in the grand scheme, vampirism is not something you adjust to quickly.
[any ideas/things you want to do]: Alright, the deal with Jess is that she's been affected most by the involuntary series of hiatuses and such. Things started to go downhill for me in that area right after I apped her. Tough break for her. She has, I think, started to recover, though. She just needs to get out and do things. She's starting to build CR - I'll be putting more effort into tagging around when things are relatively calm, so on that front she should be alright. (Though, I am always up for new CR, too!) She just needs a grander scheme, to get involved in some plot, and to that end, I'm putting her out there as available.
I've also been toying with the idea of doing a glamouring plot - she gets bored, goes out and starts practicing on people. At player discretion, characters could be forced to do any number of things, ranging from positively cracktastic to deeper things like revealing secrets they'd prefer kept. Nothing too outrageous, I want to keep her playfully mischievous, not push her over to being a villain.

[a bit about them!]: Lucy is a strictly human girl. She's 22, not the brightest crayon in the box. She's bright, bubbly and most of the time fairly happy. Right now she's dealing with a canon update in which her father died and she's bouncing around on the edge of a breakdown.
[any ideas/things you want to do]: Mostly Lucy just needs friends. She needs things to make her get out and keep her mind off what's going on. She needs other people to trust besides the Master since she's beginning to suspect he's evil.

[a bit about them!]: By some paradoxical twist of fate, Penny is simultaneously eager to help everyone in the world and kind of shy when it comes to approaching them. She is also made of sunshine and rainbows. True story.

[any ideas/things you want to do]: Penny should be more active than I am. She should be all up in your social causes, whatever they are. So... er. I can't do much except try to make activity this month, but I'd like Penny to know more people, do more things. She's virtually angst-free and ridiculously difficult to annoy, so characters with personal issues or bad attitudes are always fun?

Also. Thanksgiving dinner at the Welcome Center for everyone who doesn't have a family to spend the holiday with. Love and pie for all. Yes?

[character]: Lulu Bell

[a bit about them!]: She's a Noah (see Road) who has been around in some form or another for thousands of years. Lulu Bell is entirely disinterested in you humans, but, without the Millennium Earl around, she needs to find other hobbies. Her powers aren't as badass as Road's, but she can turn into anything. Almost. Like Road, she's on board with the whole eradicating humanity thing (when the time comes) and doesn't have much in the way of morals. In the meantime, though...

[any ideas/things you want to do]: ...Lulu Bell needs something to do. I believe most of this 'something' will involve humoring Road and pretending to care enough about people to be polite. If you would like to make friendly with her... I hope you have a very tolerant character who is forgiving of mild disdain and general apathy.

At some point--December, probably--I'd like to have Lulu Bell launch some kind of attack on the clock/carousel/deity office building (and I will check with mods when I have actual ideas and not just vague notions). Frankly, the City irritates her and she has work to do at home. If anyone else has a character with similar intentions, let me know? Maybe there can be some way to work it out.

[character]: Tsubaki Nakatsukasa
[a bit about them!]:
~Been in the City for over two years, apart from the odd canon update.
~From her last trip home, she is worrying over her partner going off to fight without her.
~She's a living weapon, a ninja tool specifically, having the ability to transform into several different forms: a kusarigama, a shuriken (two modes), a smoke bomb, a handheld ninja blade and a dark katana.
~With her partner Black☆Star who wields her, she is supposed to collect 99 evil souls and one witch soul in order to become a Death Scythe, a weapon that can be used by the grim reaper.
~Currently lives in the City with Huey, but has keys for her old apartment with canonmates, and works as a maid for Ciel at his mansion.
~She's really open, kind and friendly, and is a domestic godess nearly, so you'll be sure to get lots of food from her.

[any ideas/things you want to do]: Any plotting or CR would be great. I would like to get more involved in the game again so any ideas are welcome.

Also it's to be noted that while she can't do much without someone to wield her, she does train to try and keep in shape as well as improve her abilities. Admittedly she doesn't advertise her abilities since she doesn't want to unnerve anyone, but has been more open in telling people she's close to about her home and powers, as long she's not worrying anyone. Don't know if anyone wants to do something with that, like I said I'm open to ideas.

Eagle: Is very friendly and understanding. Generally likeable… and polite. While he might be surprised by your girl’s abilities when/if he hears about them I can’t see him holding it against her or being at all uneasy about it. Eagle is pretty easy-going about most things.
