How's My Driving?!
[I KNOW YOU'RE EXCITED!!]
How It Works:
[1] List your name/nickname/handle and your characters for which you would like some feedback (use our handy form, if you like). Open hands, await feedback.
[2] Go forth and leave some polite thoughts, crit, questions, concerns, comments, suggestions, general feedback, or any combination of the above for your fellow players about their respective characters. In this, we really encourage you to ask questions and get explanations about what has gone into characterization decisions. Communication is key. Find out what went into an action or decision and you may come to understand it better. Let's talk it out.
[3] Please try to be polite and constructive. Can't stress that enough, can we? Give suggestions and ask questions! Be constructive! But please refrain from using "placeholder" comments. HMD isn't going anywhere, I promise.
[4] Please also refrain from posting pictures, animated .gifs, videos, giant text, sparklies, blinking and moving tags, and &c. outside of collapsed threads. For the sake of our sanity and our load times.
[5] As per our community poll, Anonymous is off. We'd also like to request that sockpuppets not be used on this HMD. You are welcome to post a link to a personal HMD thread where Anonymous is allowed, if you so choose; these threads are your own lookout.
[6] If you'd like, you can also list your personal HMD posts and contact posts over in the POLYchromatic Rainbow Pages directory.
The Form:
To the best of my abilities, I'll keep an ongoing and alphabetical list of the HMD comments on this post here below for easy reference.

Other comments? Ask me questions, tell me things. I'm glad of any comments, questions, remarks, advice, suggestions, thoughts, letters, Morse code, telegrams, or smoke signals regarding my characters. I always get inspired after HMD--for whatever reason, it always makes me want to play more. I'm glad of any feedback at all. Let me know what you think.

...............QUESTION: how many Earls does it take to change a lightbulb? ;)

How many earls does it take to change a lightbulb? None, of course. They have servants for that. Preferably servants in the form of pretty, young, French parlour maids who can be made to stand up on something (possibly unsteady) so as to reach the chandelier and change said lightbulb. Obviously.

Don't be afraid to tag him sometime! I know I'd love it :3c I mean, he's great for stalking, but tags are ever-so-welcome (or else I might have to tag you).

I'm really glad that I've gotten to thread with both of them recently!

I'm glad Maria's coming across so well because, honestly, she is tricky to write. Kids in general are tricky to write because you don't want to make them seem too old or too young. Maria's a little easier because she has a pretty distinctive voice (to say nothing of the "uuu"--seriously, if I ever go over the top with that, just let me know and I'll tone it down; I really don't want it to get annoying) and a pretty clear set of interests (witches, magic). I'm a little concerned about Maria and her characterization, if only because she's been away from her canon world (and all its weirdness) for so long that I do worry that she's becoming too happy and too content and might be losing some of what makes her so distinctive in her canon (and it is a weird canon, lemme tell you). But I am glad that she's coming across as a three-dimensional character because she certainly does have the depth and detail inherent in her canon necessary for that kind of characterization. So, okay, maybe I'll want to canon review sometime soon, but that's a personal problem. I'm glad she still reads well and not too excessively childish.
Aaaaaand now that I've tl;dr'd at you about my characters... /)_(\;;
I know I've enjoyed our recent threads--I hope we can thread some more in the future.
