I always forget how many people you play. When in doubt I should just assume everyone is you. Or you are everyone. Or we are the world. Why am I commenting on this after midnight?

Anyway, I love all of your characters. I think I've interacted with all of them at this point. Maybe not Kenny... But they've all been different and engaging and fun. Steve is and adorable addition. I liked playing off of him and the thread he had with Tommy was excellent. And I love Billy forever.

And I continue to not really know any of your canons. I mean, I know Marvel verse circa 15 years ago, so that doesn't really count anymore. And I saw the very first Narnia movie.

Hey Thorn!

I wanted to let you know that the Demon's Lexicon crew got me to read the first book! (I'm waiting on the second book because my library is taking its time).

On that note! I really love what you do with Alan. I think he's got a great mix of that sweetness that really is apparent in how he interacts with almost everyone. I also think he has a fantastic sense of curiosity, especially about things that I guess he feels might be supernatural.

I love his interactions with Saya and I hope at some point in the future he can puzzle out what she really is to a slightly larger degree.

All I've got for you is activity, yeah. It's probably tricky to keep track when you're playing the same character in two games, but I feel totally justified in saying that Poly requires a fatter timeslot in your Guy-playing! These are demands I make with no selfish stalkery intentions in mind at all. I know you've established CR with most of the Tales kids, but it'd be lovely to see both Guy and Sodia out a bit more too.

I haven't played Symphonia, some my pure memory of the canon is weak... but still there!

Mithos has definitely been played well to my point of view, partly because I view him doing the same thing as I'm trying to do with Kazari, but from a much different angle. You're really trying to maintain his image as a child, despite the fact that he's really Yggdrasill (to simply differentiate from their forms/appearances). He's double faced until you know the truth, and that's important for me considering the big plot twist of Symphonia of the legendary Mithos of yore still being alive... and being batshit insane at that.

SO, I know I've told you before, but -- I really like your Sakura. You mentioned having work to do on her, what with being new, but I enjoy what I've seen so far. In particular, I'm...really a fan of the fact that you do take her ninja training into consideration, that everything she does/says to civilians is filtered through that, that she isn't just some bubbly & bubble-gum hair-coloured airhead. It's refreshing and imo a really good call.

Other comments? I know I pretty much hit an RP slump right after arriving, and that my tagging speed is slow to medium at best, and that I've barely tagged around outside Jade's journal at all, and I'm really sorry about all of that, and will be working harder on that in the future.

That said, I think you should have a bit more confidence! The best way to get into a character is to throw them out there, make some mistakes and roll with it. Maybe discuss headcanon or views with Saffy, me or someone, just to get more comfortable with him, once you feel more enthusiastic about RP again.

I remember you complaining on Plurk that you felt you lost the core of Yuri's character because he's been around too long. I don't really see it. I can't claim to have thought too much about how Yuri works and would react in specific instances, so I'll take your word on things like him needing to bitch and moan more.

But the core of his character--a cynical guy with a bad attitude who can't watch anyone in front of him suffer? You have that. With all his trolling and flirting and general personality quirks intact, I think. The only thing I've noticed is that he seems a little more relaxed about things but I think that's a natural progression of his time in the City and isn't even something I'd bring up except I'm trying to think of anything at all to give helpful crit on.

I wish I could give you any help with Hitagi and I clearly need to pay more attention to Hope.

I know you worry a lot over your characterization, but I think sometimes it... doesn't work in your favour, in that you seem to be holding back a lot, and I can't imagine that's very nice for you. You do a nice job of rendering your characters' voices, from what I've had the chance to read of them (most of my exposure's been with Ben, whom you know I live ;o;), so maybe just get a little crazy with them?

You already mentioned your activity, so not going to touch on that - I think it would probably help to make some more new CR too. At least, in my experience, it goes a long way to do that when reintegrating a character (set). /o/

But, seriously, it all comes down to Arg. the First: let your hair down a bit more!

I may be horribly biased about you forever, Duet. But I'd just like to say I fucking SQUEAL every time I get a Yeager tag. Or any tag from you. I know I've been pretty fail about thread dropping these days and that has nothing to do with your characterization.

I can hear Yeager's voice when you type him and it makes me giggle every time. Seeing his work with Kazari is super interesting and I just want to stalk Yeager everywhere and set up eating popcorn to watch him work. You have his voice and trolling and cunning down.

I really don't know what to say. I have no crit. I'd gladly offer some if I did. I'd love to see more of Yeager and his plotting but that's not even crit. That's just selfish desire for more Duet in my RP life.
