How It Works:
[1] List your name/nickname/handle and your characters for which you would like some feedback (use our handy form, if you like). Open hands, await feedback.

[2] Go forth and leave some polite thoughts, crit, questions, concerns, comments, suggestions, general feedback, or any combination of the above for your fellow players about their respective characters. In this, we really encourage you to ask questions and get explanations about what has gone into characterization decisions. Communication is key. Find out what went into an action or decision and you may come to understand it better. Let's talk it out.

[3] Please try to be polite and constructive. Can't stress that enough, can we? Give suggestions and ask questions! Be constructive! But please refrain from using "placeholder" comments. HMD isn't going anywhere, I promise.

[4] Please also refrain from posting pictures, animated .gifs, videos, giant text, sparklies, blinking and moving tags, and &c. outside of collapsed threads. For the sake of our sanity and our load times.

[5] As per our community poll, Anonymous is off. We'd also like to request that sockpuppets not be used on this HMD. You are welcome to post a link to a personal HMD thread where Anonymous is allowed, if you so choose; these threads are your own lookout.

Hi. I'm here to be insufferable and generally give you, you know, sweet love regarding Rosella and how far she's come and all she's done and how her crazy dynamic with Cain (are they or aren't they?) has carried on and how you keep track of every anniversary ever and every conversation ever and every relationship ever and all that kind of stuff. Because it's awesome. (I may never live down my finger-wagging "omg don't let Rosella be a Sue!" comment that one HMD. Ever. But I'm trying ;;)

And please don't stress over being here/not being here. It's a pleasure to be able to thread with you--frequent or infrequent.

Ahaha, well, in complete fairness, I sometimes cheat on keeping track of every anniversary ever because she's been in Poly so long that sometimes when I'm looking for something to post about, I'll go back a year in her journal and see where she was a year ago as opposed to in the present day. (Or two years ago, or three--!) So occasionally I'll remember things that way, like Blue's birthday being in February and so on. But a lot of them just kind of fall into neat patterns (oh, it's August -> Rosella hates August -> oh right here are all the reasons she has to hate August -> memories of past shenanigans!) and the rest of it...I really don't know, it's just a knack, I guess! Part of it is that Rosella lends herself well to remembering things in story format, so it's really easy to be like, "Oh, I see, it's just like this other thing that happened when [insert the story here]", and so it sort of fits that theme that her life in the City is really just a series of adventures that she's remembering to repeat someday to her father's court chronicler back home.

(AND I DIDN'T EVEN BRING IT UP THIS TIME. YOU SAID IT, NOT ME. No, but really, for all that you're probably never going to live it down, in retrospect I'm kind of glad you did make that comment all those years ago? Because she does have that potential and it gave me something to keep my eye on and I think she turned out better because of it, so there. ♥)

And I am definitely doing my best not to stress! I just need to find a good balance so I can get back to devoting an appropriate amount of time and attention to all you lovely people.
