How It Works:

1. Kufufufu. IT'S SO CHEESY and a part of me cringes when I type it but... it feels weird... not to... because I mean. Mukuro. So, uh, thoughts?
2. I worry that it reads like I'm trying too hard.
3. I also worry that he's annoying, but not in the good way. Like sometimes I hesitate to comment to serious characters because I can't help but feel someone's going to think, 'what is this shit i hate this type of character!!'
4. Anything else you can think of?!?!

I just. I love your Mukuro.

I love how you don't overuse his laugh-- and it probably does feel weird typing it, I felt awkward with Bel's at first, but I got used to it? It's fine the way you do it-- you're not overusing, you're doing it just fine as far as I have seen, and it fits into place well.

UM-- reading your posts never makes it feel like you're trying too hard. Again, mostly what I have seen is our derpy tags and yours with that hibarbie, but! Not trying to hard, from those. /NOT MUCH HELP.

I figure Mukuro adds that bit of comedy relieef. Him and that-- .. attitude of his. It's nice, and you have it down really well! I'm not a Muku expert or anything, but I do love the way you play him. / o /

He is a Hibarbie. That's why he's so -- ... asian looking. He is an asian barbie. The only one out of the rest of them with them big eyes and all. ..well Muku's aren't that big but. Hibarbie. That is what he is. The most violent of dolls.

Mukuro is the best comedy relief. When he is playful at least oh god I never want to put Bel up to him when he is in a srs mood that would be horrendous.

o1. You don't overdo the kufufufu. Trust me. I'd tell you. In punches to your jeans.
o2. No, it doesn't. Not saying you're not trying hard, only that it doesn't read that way - he reads very... fluid, actually? If that mental image makes sense? I think if you are trying v. hard, it's masked by the fact that Mukuro himself tries quite hard to make a grand theater show out of, idek, buttoning his shirt - so you're safe, for me?
o3. can't help you on that front, seems like a person-to-person thing. But I've seen your Mukuro's not-crack side too, so...? Yeah, I don't think you overdo the crack.
o4. I love the fact that you're so able and willing to play on his teenager side too, while not neglecting his srs bsnss, "I can fuck you up fancily-named-fog-style" one. It's good, because canon's started doing it too - and he is young, for all his... weird experiences. And temperament. And everything. Also, his threads with Chrome are just - seriously some of my favourites to read.

I DON'T KNOW MAN, I THINK YOUR MUKURO IS GREAT. I like that you don't play up the laugh, because on the opposite end of the spectrum, when it's overused, it becomes irritating. And honestly if you hadn't brought all of this up, I'd have no idea you were worried about looking like you're trying, because his tags read effortless to me. BUT THIS IS HOW I FEEL ABOUT EVERY CHARACTER YOU'VE PLAYED. There's this impressive amount of analysis that goes into the dudes you pick up, and-

1. The kufufuing doesn't sound cheesy to me, probably because you've figured out a balance to include it only where it fits. You don't overabuse it, since Mukuro's more than just kufufu, and that's just fantastic. So I think this also answers #2 as well, because it doesn't read that way...to my eyes. I know you've voiced this concern for a while now, but dude, who gives a fuck? You write such a superb Mukuro that the kufufuing just forms part of the wonderful and twisted ensemble. Like the mirror in the hallway. Everyone just kind of assumes there will be one there to check their lipstick before they go out. Or wink at.

3. But that is Mukuro! Meant to annoy the everliving shit out o-- oh wait, no that's Fran. Mukuro's just meant to twist your thoughts and ideas and mess up your minds constantly - oh wait, he's doing it just fine! YOUR ARGUMENTS ARE INVALID.

The weird laugh is a part of his character, it's okay, I'm sure eventually the City will stop getting stitches in its side from laughing at him.

That being said, I have no real opinions of Mukuro in canon, but am actually kind of charmed by yours! He seems like he juggles a lot: playing the total innocent, playing a mild douchebag--and then, of course, being a bit more of a real douchebag around the Vongola. (Plus that general fondness for Kokuyo, and how glad am I that we have a Ken on app?) He does it all, but still has those little moments where he's sent off-kilter by things like, you know. Spiky sour fruit. :( And it's very cute.

I suppose what I'm saying is that I like how adaptable he is! Despite being ~the designated troll~, he can ... troll in any variety of situations...? Don't worry about annoying people, come back and tag everythinggggg.
