How It Works:
[1] List your name/nickname/handle and your characters for which you would like some feedback (use our handy form, if you like). Open hands, await feedback.

[2] Go forth and leave some polite thoughts, crit, questions, concerns, comments, suggestions, general feedback, or any combination of the above for your fellow players about their respective characters. In this, we really encourage you to ask questions and get explanations about what has gone into characterization decisions. Communication is key. Find out what went into an action or decision and you may come to understand it better. Let's talk it out.

[3] Please try to be polite and constructive. Can't stress that enough, can we? Give suggestions and ask questions! Be constructive! But please refrain from using "placeholder" comments. HMD isn't going anywhere, I promise.

[4] Please also refrain from posting pictures, animated .gifs, videos, giant text, sparklies, blinking and moving tags, and &c. outside of collapsed threads. For the sake of our sanity and our load times.

[5] As per our community poll, Anonymous is off. We'd also like to request that sockpuppets not be used on this HMD. You are welcome to post a link to a personal HMD thread where Anonymous is allowed, if you so choose; these threads are your own lookout.

Uh, other than that I'm perpetually afraid of... overdoing the callousness, apathy, and the tendency to just kind of be lazing about when not skirt-chasing which he needs to do more of straight away. =/ I THINK THAT'S MORE OR LESS IT.

CRIT, POINT THE FOURTH: I find the callousness level okay, form what I've seen (including in his threads with others)? It never seems born of malice, as much as selfish apathy / oversight, which is... kind of how he was, imo. Especially with the whole, 'only healing women when there are thousands dying around me' spiel.

I think you do this... absolutely amazing job of balancing his lulz and his srs bsnss and sort of integrating him in the Angel Sanctuary background, if that makes sense? You obviously think about the world Kaori Yuki put together, about how it's shaped Raphael, and how he feels about it - it never feels as if he's just... randomly referencing any aspect of it, because it's expected or the done thing. And I love that he has that residue of, "Well, okay, I'm definitely NOT GETTING INVOLVED IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, but it was kind of douchebaggy of me not to try to Save the People [TM] and kick Sevy around a little."

...I could go on and on and on, but you'll need a napkin for my drool ;_;

That's a real relief about the callousness and to be honest you pinpointed the reason I was worried about it before I... realized what it was in any better terms than "he's callous but not.... deliberately out to get anyone, either..." XD

I AM REALLY BEYOND GLAD THAT REGRET COMES THROUGH. Even if it's in-between a lot of "BUT I DON'T CARE" and "I'M TOO SELF-ABSORBED TO BE A MARTYR LIKE THOSE MORONS" or... insinuations along those lines. gakjsds

I love your Raphael! He's one of my favorite characters in the series, and I can hear his voice clearly when you post. I also don't think you have to worry about overdoing the callousness/apathy part; you seem to have his character down well. =)
