In this, we really encourage you to ask questions and get explanations about what has gone into characterization decisions. Communication is key. Find out what went into an action or decision and you may come to understand it better. Let's talk it out.

PREFACE: I'm not a Harry Potter fan, but if you rewrote everything to make it centered around your Ginny? I'm pretty sure I'd like that. I love your Ginny. Even though you've had ups and downs with her, you've portrayed her consistently, brilliantly, and with a sensitivity to character growth.

Okay, so I've bounced a few characters off of Ginny, but her CR with Chekov is by far my favorite. She's one of very few people he can be even moderately open with; not only is she a good friend and a sympathetic listener, but she also understands the stresses of battle and the various issues that come with seeing so much crap at such a young age. You're good at hinting at a darker part of Ginny's life without delving into it IC. I also admire your knowledge of the canon and magic and Quidditch and all of that. I'm so pleased that she and Chekov can talk about details of their respective worlds (even if Chekov doesn't get magic and I'd reckon that Ginny isn't terribly interested in physics). Ginny's warmth and fondness for her family comes through loud and strong, too.

I LIKE HER A LOT. You're a fantastic roleplayer, your Ginny is brilliant, and it's been a pleasure playing with you for years and years and years.

I am also super fond of how Ginny and Chekov are so different and yet so similar because yes, magic =/= science but they were both so young when they were thrown into all the shit they had to do in canon and I like that they seem to have this quiet understanding together.
