A WILD PLOT MEME APPEARS...

Even with the overarching plots going on, it's still always neat to take advantage of the insane variety of City residents on display, and put together an event, a great adventure, or public mayhem.

So, if you have absolutely anything in mind that you'd like to start (or join!) with your character, just put it down. It can be a tiny, local deal ( a trip, a party, research gone wrong, building a fort, etc), or something with a bigger scope ( a hero squad to help the police, instituting a City regime of terror, etcetc) - really, just mention it, see who else would like to join in, make the necessary plans, and go.

Pretty much anything can be used to generate more of the fabled CR, so yeeeeeesssssss, don't hesitate to approach people with whom you've never interacted before, either to join in on their plan, or to recruit them for yours.


We'll be here for any questions, and there's also always this, if you'd like to suggest a City-wide plot, too!

I will almost certainly come up with other ideas later, but if you're interested, the Turnabout Cafe is always hiring--whether you're a waiter, a barista, a pastry chef, or something else just of general use to the place and you need a job, just send a ping :3c

Likewise, food-related-character muns (esp. characters in bakeries and the like): the Turnabout Cafe will gladly sell your items from its menus, if you need another avenue for sales (and CR between owners hurr hurr).

Also, if anyone is interested, the cafe can almost always be used as a backdrop if you need a place for a meeting, a log, a post, whatever. If you'd like a reason for that, I don't know, evenings of poetry readings could certainly be in the works |D;; (Or whatever--music, for example.)

Other Opera House Residents:

Would you object to using the opera house as a theater or a performance place sometime in the relatively near future? It's been a while since the last time a place or a ballet or a concert went on there and, while it makes a great fortress, it does have a pretty awesome stage :D

I know there are more than a few musically-inclined characters around~ Maybe it's time for a performance--either a big group effort (like the ballets that the Tutu crew put on before) or just an evening of different performances (like a variety show, as have also been put on before). Or both, at different times. I mean, there's nothing stopping us from doing both some time apart |D

Performers? Dancers? Singers? Musicians? What do you think?

Azula needs some new lackeys and/or rivals.

She's also orchestrating a plot to slander Team Avatar and make herself look good in order to ensure some safety. This is actually a proper plot line that I have some idea how it will end(?!?) but it would be nice if Azula could have some new chumps to manipulate into doing stuff for her. She is a Princess, after all.

Rivals are also okay! Azula is fiercely competitive over everything so even something super silly, like a game of Uno, can turn into a fierce rivalry.

And if anyone else wants other CR with Azula, that's fine too! I think it would be nice for Azula to have some sort of mother figure or confidante, so I would love to plot that out too!

Romantically, Azula is... Pretty limited. Plus she's fourteen. So I'll rule that out right now. Of course, going on a horrendous "date" with someone will always be an opportunity for hilarity.

Okay, so like his username suggests, Rudy plays chess. He is very, very good at chess. And seeing as how it's basically the only thing he's hax at that he'll actually participate in willingly, it's a good way to make CR because he doesn't have to be forced to do it.

SO. Any chess-playing characters out there looking for a game? I'm open to letting Rudy lose on occasion, but he's canonically extremely good at it, so it'd take someone of an equally high level to give him a run for his money. Or, y'know, if you don't mind him winning every game, he'll play less-experienced players, too; so long as the person is actually trying, he'll take the game. He's in it for the gameplay, not the victory.

Ahem, yes - hello! This isn't as much a shout-out for plot as it is an obligatory (in my opinion) disclaimer. Lately I've been pestering people in diverse places with one of my characters for my 'oh wow these could form a club together' reasons. So without further ado, this will be my trying to generate fabled CR with some minor plot if it pops up.

Mae Crawford | brobeforehos | The Demon's Lexicon | She is a really lovely, lovely girl, who actually did do everything to save her brother [highlight for 'spoilers'] [/spoilers] Which is why she is very drawn and interested in the siblings of the City, be they from the US or Narnia. She will more than likely analyse, compare, and deem you worthy or a douche (sorry, Sammy...you had bad timing) - although all quietly and in her mind. Someone needs to form the "Older Siblings Who'd Go To The End Of Everything For Their Bros Club". Mae and Alan would probably co-found it on their own. But - members! So if anyone is interested in Mae pinging your character, tell me! Otherwise I'll continue to do it regardless and you shall have to SUFFER THROUGH INTERMINABLE THREADS WITH MY HORRIBLE SELF, OH. NO. THE. HORROR.

Haru Miura | harutastic | KHR | SHE IS FANTASTIC. And needs to get fat on cake soon. But more importantly, everyone, please - drama clubs. You need cosplays? She can design them. Just...make sure you somehow need samurai octopusses or something far-fetched like that. Also, I'm very interested in somehow initiating a Vongola (the ones we have) Vegetable Show For Children Of All Ages. That is to say, Haru and Yamamoto did arrive to the City disguised as veggies, and Fran's practically a frog prince. There's also an octopuss, and HEY, PINEAPPLES! It's like a open buffet, so I'm very - highly - interested in this. And I need enablers to enable me into making Haru enable it upon the other (enable means force here). So - GO!

And she tends to be one of those really CR-friendly types, especially since she likes to tell stories and recount histories and stuff, so information-gathering types might find that useful? Also, she works in the Library, has a horse in the Barn, likes to bake, and lives in the Warehouse with a byweavinglives, whom she doesn't realize is a spider lady. I'm currently fighting the urge to pass out and go to sleep, but I'll get this up first to make up for lack of internet hurting my RP activity.

Basically I'm open to anything and everything. CR, plot, good times and bad times, but if you want some specifics on my characters, here:

mytechskeeper: She's easy to approach, so if you want to be friends, swap cooking recipes etc, she'll be happy to talk to you. Be warned though, spending so long in the City means she's not as docile in dangerous situations, and if you get into a fight with her she won't go down easily, and you'll be worse off if her meister is around. Mind you, confrontation is still last resort for her. I'm sure there is ample opportunity either way.

guignolsong: He's still fairly new, but has been spending his time learning what he can about the City and dragging Kohaku into busking while they look for work. Feel free to notice him in the library, or even hear him singing if you like. Oh, and of course, men are free to mistake him for a woman and hit on him, he will not take it well. XD

RESTAURANT CRAWL FUNDRAISER
I've been thinking of doing a fund-raiser for the welcome center sometime. I did have an idea about a restaurant crawl since it seemed like there were at least a few tea shops/restaurants that could be involved via player characters and what not.

My idea was just adapting a bar crawl fundraiser premise that I'd seen in my town. I was thinking people would sign up and pay money to do so. They can select teams or teams can be selected for them. And then they go from location to location enjoying the atmosphere there a little and solving basic puzzles or games to get a clue to a larger riddle. Whichever team figures out the riddle first gets a prize or maybe just a trophy and bragging rights.

I have done nothing with his except Euphie having the idea while talking to Zuko one day. I'll need to think of what kind of posting structure it would need, but it will take some time to set up ICly too.

But let me know if your character owns a shop that would like to be involved. Obviously, they would get the benefit of added business and publicity.

Also, if you have riddle, puzzle, game ideas please let me know. I'm not exactly good with that kind of thing and I'm sure some of you are! Euphie is also not especially good with that kind of thing, so if any characters want to help her ICly, that would be great. We can set something up to arrange that!

Geo’s Sweet Shoppe - is now missing the delivery girl and more importantly the candy maker himself. Eagle hasn’t decided whether to keep the Shoppe and try to hire new people to fill those missing positions or to sell it off. Eagle doesn’t make candy so the store itself has been closed since Geo left.
Any interest in being hired? Having your character suffer from a loss of sugary confections? Make an offer on the business?


eagleofautozam - He is still looking for a way out of the City, to return to Cephiro and accomplish his wish! Eagle is always ready for any kind of plot or chance that might lead toward that. He is kind of thinking now that the barrier option has been completely eliminated, that the only way to leave the City is to find a way to open some kind of portal… maybe by taking over the City itself. Is there a control room of some kind?

Captain Jack’s “vortex manipulator” has recently come under scrutiny. With his mun’s permission there could be an interesting time/space jumping plot or just a smaller let’s try to get the device to work again plot.

Due to what he noticed in his own timeline and what Umi told him about the future in her timeline, Eagle is under the impression Hikaru and Lantis are going to end up together. While this is true canon-ly and Eagle is happy for them… that does make him believe Lantis is off limits. Even if Eagle knows now that Lantis is from a time when he isn’t that close to Hikaru, it’s only a matter of time before he does fall for her, right? Lol, some one correct him… please. Even if a ship doesn’t develop from this it will be worth it just so I can have Eagle’s brain break a little.

As to your question about a City control room, we can neither confirm nor deny the existence of such a place at this time. And we would rather not to tip our hand about major City workings on this meme, where we're really trying to encourage CR and subconflicts between characters, not conflicts between characters and the City. I-I DON'T KNOW if anyhing'll come of this, but I figured I should put it out here.

Rokudō Mukuro, this guy, has a handful of funky skills at your possible disposal. Aside from those that enhance battle abilities, he can: 1) create illusions so real/convincing, that people can live off the organ illusions he creates, 2) use mind control / possess people's bodies (usually after cutting 'em with his trident blade), 3) use their skills, whatever they are, perfectly while possessing 'em.

Now, yeah, he does have an all-encompassing streak of "why not, this could be fun/useful", but I'd assume that anyone actually interested in any of that (lol) would want something a little more meaningful... so we'd have to actually plot stuff. :3

As per his previous post, Jim's going to try and make a solar surfer here in the City with Gokuderachans. It is likely going to fail and crash and burn horribly. And so he will build a second one! And that one will crash and burn. So he'll build a third! And I can't see that one succeeding so it will crash and burn.

BUT THE FOURTH. The fourth will fly true. An' that's what your gonna get, lad -- the strongest surfer in all this City.

SO if by chance you want to have your character notice a couple of dudes crashing some surfers around the city/forest/beach, feel free!

SOUL's a teenage boy that can turn into a scythe. No, that doesn't mean he'll preen your gardens and such with his arm-sickle, but he'll probably just be chilling out places to get used to The CITY.

Other than turning into a weapon he enjoys jazz music and has talent for playing piano though his tunes are more MAD (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2z4u1mfs6rA) than things you've probably heard. He most likely won't play for anyone unfortunately unless he's cursed like on the City Enchanted curse day coming up ohohoho. Decent at basketball, he can cook, and he's ridden motorcycles. A bit lazy and cancel your invitations because unless he's dragged, no parties for him though. That's not his scene. B(
