How It Works:

I never really got to thread with Chase at some length til Mycroft, and I definitely enjoyed getting to recently!

I love that he's such a good buy, but also a bit of a stiff douchebag, but so visibly trying. idk, you just make him fun.

Hi! I just wanted to thank you for tagging into one of my Dawn posts. I've always read your Chase and been a little intimidated (even back when I played Alexis and they talked quite a bit) cause I think you do a very good job of playing a very smart character. Sometimes those kinds of characters get dumbed down in the land of role play whether because people don't put the time into research or whatever it is. You play him well and you do a great job of keeping him smart.

And I know non of my characters can hold a candle to his intellect but I hope you don't mind my guys tagging into your Chase posts anyway! He can be annoyed with them, or whatever. lol

You know, a long time ago he was very close to a Dawn in poly, back before he lost his memories. He kind of enjoys pretending to be irritated by inquisitive, chatty types. And I'd forgotten you were Alexis, too!

And thank you. I watch entirely too many medical documentaries and do quite a lot of research for him because it really is an aspect of the character I enjoy. I always worry how well I do at the part that can't be researched, his general way of picking personalities apart, but it's good to hear at least the jargon sounds plausible. Thanks!

I needed my puppy dog icons for this.

So, when I got here, I kind of figured due to the nature of the OC I decided would be a good idea to bring that I would be in a corner trying not to offend people too much, mostly just playing with the people who knew me. But not only did you come play with me, you didn't mind my tl;dr narration and you gave me your prose back.

As someone who... invests a lot into my narration and can't really do without it, it means a lot to me when I have it returned, it feels really good, and I've very much enjoyed your clever prose and your willingness to learn about my character and to let me learn about yours in kind.

From an OOC perspective, I have also enjoyed that I do feel like I can talk to you easily about what I would like to see and where I would like to go.

Sooo, don't worry at all about being busy, I don't mind waiting. -puppy flop on your feet.-

I love tl;dr when it's so well purposed and thought out and it always is with your characters. I'm glad he prodded her, their CR has turned into some of his most interesting, and talking to her often helps me establish where I am with him if that makes sense, as he doesn't use the same kind of facade in her company. I really do enjoy plotting about with you.

Haha well, that's a huge compliment. There have been episodes and occasions where I've hated him too but that's sort of also what made me like him. He's a very flawed puppy, a highly imperfect but good man, and definitely tries to deflect from anyone noticing.

But I am sure I can find something for him to be a complete jerk about if you'd like to hate him again.
